Embracing Doing Less
A spring note on slowing down, savoring color, and curating joy

Dear Friends,
This newsletter was meant to go out in April… clearly, it didn’t. But here we are! Life happens, and I’m learning it’s less about perfect timing and more about picking yourself up and getting back into rhythm.
It’s been a whirlwind few weeks. I’m excited to share that our team officially made the move to Corcoran (you can catch a behind-the-scenes peek at our photo shoot here). I wrapped up a 6-week Intro to Interior Design course at the New York School of Interior Design (2025 is my Year of Creativity, after all), I’ve been ramping up my photography work, and I had the joy of helping dear friends and clients close on their dream homes.
In true “do-it-all” fashion (who can relate?), I’ve been adding and adding to my plate, but rarely pausing to edit or refine. So now, I’m slowing down—just a bit. The rest of this month is about resetting, being more intentional with my time, and making space to breathe. There’s always another class, project, or idea calling my name—but not everything needs to happen right now. At least, that’s what I’m reminding myself.
Consider this your gentle nudge to pause and savor the moment. Stop and smell the roses—literally or figuratively.
Thank you for the honor of your time and attention.
With love and light,

Well [INSPIRED]
I’m often inspired by color, and this month’s muse is: chartreuse.
Named after the French liqueur of the same name, chartreuse is bright, earthy, and herbaceous. The liqueur itself was first crafted in 1737 by Carthusian monks from a secret blend of 130 herbs—and the name for this vivid green-yellow hue first appeared in 1884.
It’s the perfect spring color—refreshing yet decadent, playful yet rich. I’ve been loving it as a bold contrast to light blues and greens (another current favorite). Together, they strike a balance between calm and vibrancy that feels just right this season.

My latest design obsession? Natural stone.
The veining, the texture, the drama—it’s pure art. Mother Nature really is the ultimate designer.
Sometimes I wonder if I was the proprietress of a stone yard in a past life. Wandering through rows of slabs, admiring the character of each one? That’s my kind of fun.
Of course, natural stone isn’t always the right fit. It’s not ideal for high-traffic areas or rentals where durability (and easy maintenance) might be more important than aesthetics. But when it is right? There’s nothing quite like it.
Well [EXPLORED]
Paris has landed in New York City.
I had the pleasure of visiting Printemps on its opening day—the first U.S. outpost of this iconic French department store. Designed by Laura Gonzalez, the space feels like a confectioner’s dream: rich, whimsical, and full of detail. There were so many beautiful “moments” throughout that narrowing down a few favorites was nearly impossible (but here are eight for you!).
Their campaign boldly declares that Printemps is “not a department store”—and they mean it. This space is an experience. Go for cocktails, stay for dinner, and while you’re at it…maybe do a little shopping.
I’ll definitely be back soon for some quality girl time.
Fun fact: The grand finale of the space is the Red Room—an Art Deco, mosaic-covered chamber that’s been declared a national historic landmark. Apparently, I was standing in the room with the grandson of the original artist, Hildreth Meière.
Pretty fabulous!

Gather your friends and loved ones—and create your own café for the day.
I recently attended a coffee shop pop-up at a friend’s place (you may have seen the trend floating around online). Instead of meeting at a café, we became the café—complete with a custom menu, local pastries, and putting our friend’s espresso machine to the test.
It was our first time trying it, and a total success. Disclaimer: it’s a bit of work for the host—but absolutely worth it. Since my friends and I are planning a summer girls’ trip to Italy, we leaned into an Italian coffee shop theme to match the mood (and fuel the trip planning).
Is this something you’d try?

Reintroducing a very special home on an even more special block in Gramercy: East 19th Street—Block Beautiful.
I’m thrilled to be representing—and to have photographed—this home. Springtime here is nothing short of magical, with a lush private garden and a serene water feature that adds just the right touch of calm.
I’ll let the images speak for themselves. Take a look at the full listing HERE.
